My ART4FREEDOM is about how one feels when freedom is lost due to the Covid lockdown. I found myself demotivated to get up in the mornings. After a while, the days and dates began to blur and some days, I was unsure what day it was. From that strange sensation, I tried to capture that early morning confusion and share it with you here. To be honest, as a guilty pleasure, we all enjoy a lazy morning, every now and then but not when they are forced upon us. And so, we must spare a thought for the people, who are not so lucky to have these luxuries and the sacrifices made by others, so we can live these crazy, yet comfortable, moments. In the year when communities, countries and the human species find freedom in danger and things are tense and strained, we should put careful effort into being extra understanding, supportive of each other and think positive. Personally, I also felt trapped in a career I couldn't escape from and the Covid lockdown, made me value the importance of freedom and has given me the motivation to pursue a different path with my art. I now feel more free and positive about myself than I have in years. IAM4FREEDOM!
