My ART4FREEDOM is about breaking free from vanity in this time of crisis. The first thing, most people do when they enter the bathroom, is look in the mirror. They check their looks, touch their faces, fix their hair and makeup etc... In my ART4FREEDOM however, the mirror is absent, and the words: “You look fine - Just wash your hands” are written in its place. It’s a way to help people not give in to their usual excessive pride and actually focus on the more important task at hand, which is to wash their hands. Having lost our freedom due to lockdowns, where we cannot go outside or meet, it is no longer important what we look like but that we do all we can, to get our freedom back, as soon as possible.
